Our dog portraits

Published by admin at 2:58 pm under Blog

Wendy and Marc Bill have two wonderful dogs named Bandon and Sandy. Wendy painted these dog portraits in affordable 6″ x 8″ sizes. You can get this size dog portrait painted for only $85 and it comes with an oak wood easel. For more, read about ordering and pricing.

Dog Portrait of Bandon a Golden Retriever

It has been my experience that Golden Retrievers are by nature very loving and very even tempered. Bandon being a two year old, pure bred golden retriever, on the other hand takes the affection piece to another level. He is perfectly content snuggling up into your lap or arms depending on how tolerant you are. Bandon truly believes he is a lap dog. He is a very loving dog, who has a non -stop appetite for both food and affection. Everyone who has comes in contact with him can’t help but leave with a smile and perhaps a stray of hair on their lap. He is a true wonder and keeps us guessing with his incredible personality. -Marc Bill

Dog Portrait of Sandy B a Golden Retriever

Sandy B, often referred to as little girl has a very unique personality. As a puppy, she was very destructive and knew every button to push with me. Unfortunately, they were all the wrong ones. You can say she was not the brightest crayon in the box. As she matured into a beautiful adult she settled down, and became even tempered. She is picky at meal times and insists on eating alone with the door closed. You can often find her snuggling in a ball, chewing toys, and doing what dogs do best, making me smile. – Wendy Bill

Wendy does wonderful work. I have seen many pieces and have ordered one for myself. I will be ordering more in the future! She takes such pride in the work she does. Wendy has a true talent few people could ever hope to have!

Wendy Bill can paint anything you can imagine! I created a Beach theme guestroom and Wendy designed a 3D painting that you “had to touch” since you could feel the sand and practically hear the oceans waves. Be it rock or canvas art–it does not have to be pets…Wendy’s grapevines to golf art ROCKS!

Wendy is truly an inspirational artist. I have admired her work for many years. I have been so touched by her portrait of my cat, Biggly, that I will also be requesting a portrait of Toby, a yellow lab who is a new member of the family.

Wendy has created TWO beautiful works of art I gave as gifts to my Mother (one dog before he passed away, and we commissioned Wendy to do it again when a new best friend moved in!) By the way, these wonderful, life-like creations were each on a large stone, placed in basket ~ one sits on the left, and one on the right side of the fireplace in Mom’s home. Now, I am excited to surprise her with a portrait she can hang in her bedroom. Thank you, Wendy, for your puppy passion!

Oh Wendy I am SO proud of you!! This is what you were meant to do as I have told you (ahem, ok nagged you :) for years.

The purples are beautifully rendered. I just wish the website could show the true textures and warmth and “capture” of your artwork. From the first rock you painted for my kids, to the startlingly lifelike portrait of Edmund Gray Kitty, to the enchanting piece that hangs over my fireplace and everything in between, I have always been a huge fan. (I would say biggest fan but I’d have to fight Marc for that)

I can’t wait until you paint Louie!!!

Wendy, is a fabulous artist. I am honored to have her first drawing from one of her art classes , of my daughter in her crib as an infant. Also, I have her very first portrait on stone of a calico cat, which I love. My ultimate favorite, is of my cat, Bobby who passed away. The painted stone really helped me through that difficult time. I still cherish it today. I am her biggest fan and always will be.

    Wendy,

My wife and I were the proud “parents” of Sammy the cat. His face is shown in the upper right corner picture. I am always amazed at how life like you were able to make the rock. Sometimes I almost expect to hear it meow. His rock memorial occupies a spot in our living room next to the fire place. Thank you for great work!!!

Through the years, Golden Retrievers have become my favorite dog. Makes me want to get one as I get even older.

    Wonderful job, Wendy.

    Dear Wendy,

I want to thank you so much for doing such a great painting of “Pan”. He was such a great cat and now, looking at your portrait of him, I feel his presence very strongly even though he is no longer with me.
