Pet Portraits

Here is Missy. She is thirteen and enjoys the outdoors. You may find her unique with her tail, which resembles a racoon’s. This 8×10 acrylic portrait, will be a great surprise for someone on Christmas morning.

All my paintings are done with the photo’s or image’s that you send to me.  This enables me to create accurate coloring, fur texture, special characteristic’s and facial expression’s .

Here I am painting a portrait,  while adding the final details that give the portrait a life like appearance…this process includes:  adding the sparkel to the eyes, whiskers and fine fur strokes around the muzzle.

Here is a 6×8 (part of my mini series collection),  portrait of a cocker spaniel, named Buddy! This is my most popular size, which primarily focus on the animals face….displayed on an easel it can be admired on a fireplace mantel.

Here is one of my favorite portraits, it is my portrait of a dalmation named Dixie!  The floral chair in the background, where she lays was her favorite spot in the house, which also adds a personal touch.
